Pasqualina, 91, is an old lady full of life who lives in a nursing home after having lost all her relatives. In a sunny day, she decides to run away from there: she wants to find a former love she had long lost sight of. In this journey, Pasqualina ends up meeting Petrolina, nicknamed Pety, an 8 years old dreamy girl, that resents the fact of not having a grandmother.
